Who We Are
Living Biohazard is an art and ethical oddities company that caters to all people from small time collectors, to fully fleshed museums. I try to leave my touch on everything I sell. From the Fooddities 100% artisanly hand-crafted by me, to the locally embalmed wet specimens I make. We are responsible in all of our product sourcing, we do not buy illegally or unethically.
Our Origins
Living Biohazard was founded in 2010 by me, Elliot Angel. Ever since I was a child I've always been interested in fossils, bones, and animals. Oddities you could say, have always been with me; something I don't think I could ever separate myself from. The inspiration for my art comes from so many places, often I'll just look at something and imagine it as something else...like a cat skull as ice-cream. Or a taxidermy shrimp as a cookie. My faux food art is very vibrant, things I could personally never eat myself, as I'm allergic to artificial food colourings. So I suppose no one else can eat these beautiful things now either. Well, perhaps only once. ;)
Our Mission
Is to make oddities, taxidermy, and strange fine art accessible to more than just the wealthy members of society. We promote eco-friendly natural products and recycling/upcycling. To breath new life into what was once dead. To take offcastings others may find as grotesque and change them into something beautiful.
